Event & Deals Revamp
Revamped the Event and Deals platform — replacing a legacy jQuery codebase with a modern React stack, paired with a fresh design that improved performance and the overall shopping experience.
Problem
The Event and Deals platform — covering discounted vouchers and promotional events — was built on jQuery. It was slow, hard to maintain, and the codebase had become a bottleneck for any meaningful product iteration.
Solution
A full revamp using React.js with GraphQL and Redux, paired with a redesigned UI. The new stack made the codebase maintainable, enabled better data fetching patterns, and laid the foundation for faster feature development going forward.
